Usually when I come downstairs in the morning I'm greeted with "Oh hi mom! Hiiiii!"
Or "Can you make me breakfast?"
This particular morning Cedrik said "I'm exhausted." Not wanting to miss the opportunity, I laid down with him. Freddie laid on both of us. :)
Our cloud week was split over two weeks.
We read The Cloud Book, a few books on the water cycle, Little Cloud and The Water Hole.
We made a cloud with a glass jar, ice and hairspray-awesome-Thank you Pinterest.
Tried to make a raining cloud with shaving cream-pinterest semi fail-maybe I had the wrong shaving cream but almost all of our rain got stuck in the cloud.
We listened to the water cycle song on YouTube about 20 times. It is actually a catchy song.
We learned about tornadoes and hurricanes. Cedrik finds them fascinating (who doesn't).
He also made a cloud book. He painted white clouds onto paper and then when they were dry he looked at his creations and told me what they looked like. Some of them were: helicopter airplane, fancy airplane, rooster, turkey, and turkey bacon.
Eloise and I went with my dad and Donna up to Anacortes to see my grandma before she passed away. I learned some new things about her. These pictures chronicle the trip.
