Sundbeam Cedrik

Sunday was Cedrik's last week in nursery.  They had a graduation for them.  They sang a couple of songs.  Correction: the other kids sang.  Cedrik stared at them.  He does not like performing for people.  I had hoped since he was beginning to really open up to people that he may feel comfortable enough to sing, but he didn't.  The funny thing is that he sings all the songs at home all the time.  His favorite song to sing is "I Feel My Savior's Love."  He sings it to Eloise almost every day.  I love it.

He was too busy worrying about how long he had to wait to eat the cookies and drink the punch they had for everyone.  The bishop talked to them for just a minute and then they ate and went to singing time in primary.

Grandpa Fox and Shannon made Cedrik's day by coming to his graduation.  He kept saying "I'm bigger now."

We can't believe how quickly 3 years has passed.  Our little baby is bigger now.

When they went into primary, they were able to get up in front of everyone and say "I am a child of God because ______."  Cedrik told me when we got home that he got to "give a talk," something he has wanted to do for months.  He said "I am a child of God because I am a child of God.  That was my testimony."  He is a child of God!

Christmas 2013

We headed down to Utah for Christmas.  We were able to leave on Friday afternoon right before a big storm came to Boise.  Jordan had done a lot of surveillance during the week which allowed is to leave early and he got overtime!

We had Eloise's blessing on Saturday night.  I always love having the blessing at home.  Since most people do it at church, it makes it really special to have only family around in the living room.  I feel so much peace and love.  Jordan did a wonderful job and gave her the sweetest blessing.

On Sunday we went to Chari's sacrament meeting because she was playing a song.  That night, I think we watched Life of Pi on Steve and Carla's new TV (their Christmas present).

Monday we went sledding a little bit after the boys napped and ate at Jordan's favorite restaurant ever, El Sol.

Tuesday was spent getting ready for the party that night but I did take Rico sledding again (Freddie somehow got a fever the night before). It was very icy and he flew down the hill.  Sledding with your own kids is very fun.

Bingo prizes included: a cat t-shirt, bear socks, a bullet pen, magnifying glasses, a Wal-Mart associate choir cd, steering wheel cover, megaphone, and my favorite, a small vacuum that plugs in with a usb.

The boys stayed up the latest they ever have-10:30-which allowed them to sleep in until 815, when I finally woke them up.

Both boys got a Bruder truck.  Freddie got a dump truck, Cedrik got a garbage truck.  Jordan is trying to talk Cedrik into earning money to buy another truck...he has his sights set on a crane truck (and yes, I'm still talking about Jordan).  They are heavy-duty and very cool.  Cedrik also got his white shirt and red tie for primary (which he starts next week-another post).  Freddie got a new Sunday movie.

The mashed potatoes for Christmas dinner were awesome.  Carla gave me some flour sack towels which I'm now doing some embroidery work on.  I love them.  This is the first time I've embroidered anything.  We also got some village pieces.

We left Thursday morning.  Freddie threw up on the way home, didn't sleep AT ALL that night and has slept most of the day today.  He was finally feeling better by dinner time.  We are happy the weekend is already here so we can unwind from such a fun week!

"Sfuggles"

Cedrik LOVES to snuggle Eloise.  Freddie likes to.  Every morning when she wakes up they fight over who can snuggle her first.
