One Fun Day

I was given flowers for Mother's Day (beautiful flowers) and decided to sacrifice one of them to use the petals for a transferring activity with Cedrik.  He has been introduced to tweezers before and this was the third time.  He was able to transfer all of the petals after a few minutes!  He was so proud, and I was too.  After, we went to the zoo (all three of us, but Freddie was asleep the entire time).  Cedrik absolutely loved the monkeys.  He laughed out loud when they swing around.  However, we did see a monkey that was acting inappropriately and stopped watching him quickly.  Cedrik loved the golden pheasant as well as the penguins.  He saw big kids climbing on things and wanted to tried to imitate them.  The lion came down to the window and I am pretty sure if there hadn't been glass he wold have eaten Cedrik.  He looked at him the whole time we stood there.  It is so wonderful to see him becoming less shy, not "un-shy" but less shy and he was so interested in the animals.  I believe we will be going to the Zoo a few times this summer.

There are some horses near our house and each day we go to watch them eat grass. What fun!  We also have a tortise that lives nearby that we were able to pet one day.  We hear a rooster crow(?) almost every day and see a cat sleeping in a window.  And let's not forget about all the people mowing their lawns.  This is a happening part of town.
