Where's Fred Been?

Lounging.  That's where.  He still isn't crawling, he's 9 months old tomorrow.  My little baby is still completely a baby and I want him to stay that way!  He rolls and sits and laughs and screams and says "Dada" all day long.  He screams when Cedrik goes near him and then looks for me and waits for me to tell Cedrik to leave him alone.  Can they really learn that fast?  He is thinning.  Wait, let me rephrase that.  His face is thinning, he is still chunky but he is getting longer.  Have I mentioned he smiles for 75% of his day?  He sleeps for about 27% of the day and the rest of the time he is being pushed over by Cedrik.  Poor baby. He is so wonderful.

Spirit 2012

We woke up early on Friday morning and went to The Spirit of Boise.  Cedrik loved saying "Hi people" to the people in the balloons.  He thought it was a really fun time and was very upset when we left.  This is one of my favorite traditions.

Labor Day Weekend 2012

Chari, Brandon and Taycee were able to finally come up and visit us again.  It has been a year since they've been up.  It was SUCH a good weekend.  Chari and I talked A.LOT.  We all played with the kids.  Cedrik and Taycee had fun playing with each other.  Cedrik pushed Taycee a few times.  Cedrik started saying "Oh my gosh; are you kidding me?" Chari and I made good food.  Jordan and I went to a baptism, well, baptisms.  There was a family that was baptized and it was one of the most spiritual things we have ever witnessed together.  I had stake choir practice and my dad was able to come and listen.  I made a samoan bundt cake...google it...now. You won't be sorry.  We went to the aquarium and a fish nibbled Cedrik's hand.  Brandon fed the fish and the sharks/sting rays.  We drove up to Hidden Springs for a Sunday drive.  Did I mention we ate a lot of food??

After they left, Cedrik napped and when he woke up we went to the new park off of Fairview and Eagle.  It is a cute park.  Cedrik rolled down a hill for the first time and swung to his heart's content.  Then Freddie started getting angry/tired so we went home and spent the rest of the day together as a family.  We had family home evening and it was the first time Cedrik sat through it and listened to the whole thing.  It was wonderful.

P.S. Some of these pictures are bad, and I forgot to take pictures most of the time they were here.  Sorry Carla!

So gross.
