Grandma Smith

I think Grandma Smith is going to want to sleep for a week after her trip here.

She barely stopped moving, unless it was to hold the baby, or read a book to the kids. Food, groceries, errands, playing outside, playing games, laundry, cleaning, books, dessert, changing diapers, taking kids to the bathroom, nap time, new bed for wheezy, new bike for Cedrik, light fixtures for Jordan and my birthdays. It was so helpful. And the help was needed. I think I'm ready to get back to finding our regular routine... but, now Dad is here until Saturday. So, I guess I get to wait a little longer. Our little  "Marie bubble" isn't ending quite yet and I'm appreciative of that.

Update

My mom has been here. Here are some Marie photos.

Helpers

Spence and Bethany surprised all of us with a visit and some much needed help.

They came on Friday-our hardest transition day.

They watched the kids, took them to a movie and the aquarium, went to the grocery store for us, baked brownies, brought teats and food, played games, cleaned the kitchen, loved the kids.

It was so nice to have them here. The kids loved spending time with them and Jordan loved the extra help fixing sprinklers. I loved getting to talk to Bethany more. It was helpful to be able to sit and the kids felt loved, which is most important.
