Shark Tank
We were able to go down to Logan for the weekend. Jara was having her baby blessed and Jordan's first mission president's wife was also going to be in town.
We got in Friday night and had dinner at Jordan's heaven (El Sol). The boys stayed up late and ended up falling right to sleep when they finally got to bed. We played games and ate desserts until late.
Saturday, we went into town to shop and stopped at Shaffer House Bakery. YUM. Jordan and I each had a maple bar, and I ate a crumb doughnut. He also ate a petit four and that's what Jara and Carla had.
The boys took forever to take their naps and when they awoke, we met Sister Tolboe (mission pres wife) for rootbeer floats. The boys loved them (we all did) and it was nice to finally meet the woman who looked after my husband for part of his mission. She is gorgeous and incredibly nice.
After, Cedrik and I played in the sand box and then we went up to Jara's for the blessing and dinner. We stayed up very late because Julie had driven up from Salt Lake and she keeps the party going. Her laugh is contagious!
On Sunday we played again outside and enjoyed the weather before they had to go to church and we drove home.
Carla gave us some of her needlepoint to hang up and I love them. They are Hummels.

The 4th
We had a good 4th. Jordan was up early putting flags in people's yards for scouts. He worked for about an hour and then had to reach a piano lesson. The boys played outside and after their naps we went to u-swirl. Credrik loves it there.
We played outside some more, threw those popping fireworks on the ground, had dinner and s'mores for dessert. Jordan and I watched a movie and then he picked up the flags. We brought the boys back down for fireworks because it was finally dark enough and they liked it. Cedrik was the most impressed.

Good Friends
Our friends came in from New Hampshire this last weekend and the kids got to play for a few minutes before Adrienne and I went out for the night. It was as if no time has elapsed. Cedrik loves playing with Connor and Lily. The boys laughed a lot and Lily found Cedrik's monkey and her favorite chair and sat with it. :) Freddie sat with Jordan the whole time.
Later, Adrienne and I went to whole foods, shared coconut mint ice cream and sat outside and talked for a long time. I miss talking to her in person, but like our kids, it felt like no time elapsed.
