Easter Week

This week we studied Christ's last week in detail.  We started every morning with scriptures and the corresponding Bible video.

Monday Cedrik helped me cut palm leaves. Then he cut some pages of his new cutting book. That night we talked again about Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. Jordan was the kind donkey and both boys took a turn riding, while the other shouted "Hosana! Hosana! Hosana!" Then they laid their palms down for the donkey to ride on them.  It was fun.  We sang an Easter song to end the night.

We had a feast of humus, olives, grapes, pita bread, peaches and fig bars. In the morning and at lunch time on our feast day, Cedrik asked "is this Jesus' body?" I guess something is sinking in.

We drove up with Jordan to Placerville (pronounced plasserville) and the boys played outside, looked through binoculars, threw rocks on the creek. Then Freddie lost his boot in the water. Thankfully there was a long stick Jordan used to fish it out.
Other random things: Eloise's favorite toy is the wipes container.  She can't stand if it is taken from her.
