Traditions

We used to go cut our Christmas tree every year.  This year, Jordan talked me into a non-real tree.  I actually like it a lot.  No water, don't have to worry about it catching of fire from being dry and it looks good all the way through Christmas.

I told him he had to come up with a new tradition to replace the other one.  He said fudge.  So, Freddie and I made fudge.  We also went and got soy hot chocolates (soy caramel brulee steamers for Jordan and me) and drove around looking at lights.  Every year Boise gets lazier with Christmas lights.  It's sad.  There are a couple of houses around us though that never disappoint.

That same night the boys ran into target with me and we picked out a new start for our tree.  We have never really liked our star.  The boys picked out the cheapest one, which happened to be the one that was the best in the selection available. :)
