We decorated on Monday. We learned where Ireland is and a little about some animals that live there. We had discussions about leprechauns and made a trap in hopes that they could catch one.
Tuesday they were greeted to a mom who was already up and ready for the day-it made such a huge difference. The trap Jordan made for the "leprechaun" failed. "She" made off with the gold bracelet and left a note and treats instead. They had fun searching for the gold.
Then they played lucky bingo while I made Irish soda bread. Freddie and Eloise had to come help-and try the dough. Our daily green smoothies were the perfect compliment to the bread.
We watched Darby O'Gill and the Little People, ate Irish cheese, some rolls and apples for a snack and went for a walk. They kissed the blarney stone. We tried to see the bagpipers, but something must have been off. We waited for them at whole foods-after eating an insanely expensive lunch! We even circled around again after getting Jordan a chipotle burrito. No sign of them. The boys were so disappointed.
They all took great naps (Cedrik took two! *gasp*).
"Happy St. Patricks Dea!!!!!!!"
