Fred hit me with the shovel

The picture caption is written by Cedrik:

"Fred was trying to get dirt on me. Then he just hit me on the nose. He meaned to. Then it was bleeding. Then mom put calendula on it."

Cedrik and Freddie love the backyard. They like to spend time digging and wandering around finding rocks and sticks. Right now it is so muddy out there. Their snow boots were caked in mud, at least a pound per shoe. Their gloves are also covered in mud. So, until it dries a little bit, or snows, they are confined to the grass.

Cedrik has been especially helpful. One of his favorite things to do is babysit Eloise. He makes her laugh all day long. At night Cedrik and Freddie play in the room and scream and laugh until almost 10. This helps them sleep in until just after 7-which is helpful.
