Conference Weekend

Surprisingly with all the candy corn laying around Cedrik only managed to eat one piece. I think.

Look closely.  We all may have napped once.  Shayla was the only one caught on camera though.

Girl's night while the men went to Priesthood Session.  We went to Sonic and had Cherry Limeades.  It was my first time having one and it was really good.

Shayla decided to do his hair while I was busy doing something.  I always thought Cedrik would never be stolen because he'd scream if someone he didn't know took him out of my sight...now I know he won't make a sound.

They are the perfect pair.  Bowen will let Cedrik push him around....is this how their relationship will always be?

John and Shiann's Wedding

At the end of September John and Shiann were married at the CW Moore building.  It was a fun night and it was great to get dressed up for something other than church and not have Cedrik with us for a few hours.  Our friends, the Petersons saved us by babysitting at the last minute (no babysitter could be found!).  Cedrik "wasn't bad, but didn't have fun."  He pouted the whole time in Bryant's arms and Adrienne informed us that he is an emotional eater (we knew, but it's always nice to have things confirmed).  At least he didn't scream the whole time and was asleep when we got there.

Today's Learnings

He has decided now is the time to use silverwear and insists on using a spoon or fork with every meal.

I set him down on this one day and for some reason he wouldn't get off.  He just sat there for a good 15 minutes.  Thats the longest he's stayed in one spot since he was a newborn.

We decided to take his bed out of his crib to see if he'd sleep on it.  He does.  The other night we had to go somewhere after he was in bed.  Jordan went up to get him and he was sitting crossed legged holding his monkey, staring.  He doesn't ever get up and play with his toys at night.  Maybe one day he will.  He loves being able to get in and out of bed on his own.  It is also nice in the mornings to not have to hear crying as our alarm clock; he just gets out of bed and comes into our room.  So nice.

New Home

I threw in a couple of pictures of Cedrik with his space man head band that he likes to wear.

We're not quite done decorating but it takes awhile longer when there is more space!
